My life as an artist had a late start. A life-changing diagnosis put in front of me what seemed to a be derailment. As I went through my treatment and came out the other side, it was crucial for me to find new meaning in the path forward. As with physical reconstruction, I found spiritual reconstruction necessary.   Slowing down and living in gratitude allowed me to discover a gift that a busy-paced life had overshadowed. My creativity!  I found a way to express this gift:  Metalsmithing.

I love art and found making rustic jewelry is how I enjoy expressing myself.  Embracing imperfection is a mantra of mine, so as a metalsmith, I use that in creating rustic, organic pieces of jewelry. All of my work is hand-fabricated through a variety of techniques.  I am inspired by many things, but especially by picking up and holding a special stone. Then the fun begins!
